Hi!

I’m McKinley, a purp0se-driven graphic design leader with extensive print and digital experience across the worlds of independent publishing, higher education, US politics, and international climate philanthropy.

I hold a master’s degree in graphic design from the Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) and a bachelor’s degree in English from Virginia Tech, and in fifth grade, I won the spelling bee.

Most recently, I proudly served on the Harris-Walz presidential campaign as the first in-house Design Lead for Biden for President, playing a critical role in helping to grow our team from myself to the 13 brilliant, passionate designers that navigated three rebrands, hundreds of campaign events, and countless unexpected twists with skill and endless grace under fire.

When I’m not designing, catch me going to concerts alone, committing British sitcom scripts to memory, obsessing over a different language every month, and complaining loudly about bad wayfinding in airports.
